Biography

Rogier Houwen (b. 1992, NL) is a fine art photographer and printmaker who exposes the cosmic nature in all things. His photographs contain landscapes, still lives, human forms and abstractions which are all focussed on the connection between the cosmic and the earthly.

“Whether it’s a landscape, a human being, a space, or an object, everything radiates a certain atmosphere. These atmospheres – the subtle vibrations that are felt – are my subjects. My work is not about what is seen but what is felt through the seen.”
